In the framework of the EU-Programme PRINCE, our project "The EU-Enlargement process: Open your mind and get involved! Awareness raising events in the area of future enlargement towards the Western Balkan states in eight selected European countries" aims to familiarise EU citizens with the culture and socio-political structure of candidate countries and potential candidates in Southeast Europe and to stimulate an informed debate about the benefits and challenges of future EU enlargements.
We will be working with journalists, local authorities as well as teachers and civil society organizations dealing with local civic education to reach out to the wider public. By doing so, we aim to increase the multiplying effect of our activities and to contribute to the sustainability of our endeavours.
We are members of the European Network of Political Foundations who will implement the project in Austria, the Czech Republic, Croatia, Greece, Hungary, Poland, Slovenia, and the Netherlands.
